A Cli-Fi Trilogy

It's taken over 6 years, around 220,000 words, endless re-writes, incredible generosity and patients from thousands of people who supported the books on Unbound but today, for the first time, I am in possession of all three books.
News from Gardenia
News from the Squares
News from the Clouds

Supporters of the latest book will be receiving their individually signed copies in a few weeks.

News from the Clouds is released in early May.

After the first two cliffhangers, book three has an ending.
As my wonderful editor Rachael Kerr stated. 'it's an incredibly satisfying ending but with a twist that you really don't expect.'

All three books are set 200 years in the future, well, now it's 196 years because they are all set in 2211.
I wanted to write something that was the antithesis to the dystopian, post apocalyptic deluge we are drowning in, so the News from Trilogy is a little more optimistic, while hopefully not being too sickly sweet, everyone is lovely and all the birds sing in harmony.
It's not a perfect utopia, more a protopia, it's better than today but not in any way perfect.
Now I just have to wait until more people have read it.

Robert,

Huge congratulatons on the publication of your cli-fi trilogy. I look forward to reading it before too long. I was wondering if you'd be interesting in joining a cli-fi Facebook group I've set up with the chap who fisrt coined the term 'cli-fi', Dan Bloom. There's lots of interesting discussion there. Here's the link https://www.facebook.com/groups/320538704765997/?ref=bookmarks

Hi Robert,

I just finished the first two back-to-back and loved them. So far I'd much rather live in Gardenia, but I think Square-World is the more likely of the two. Interesting that both of those scenarios involved a sort of IQ cull to get humanity over the hump. Curious if you think this is nesicary or simply inevitable?

Just finished 'News from Gardenia'....really enjoyed the book - a lot of your ideas/content reasonated with my own current way of thinking. We are of a similar age and appear to have aspects of our thinking in common - this enhanced the read for me (I would happily live in a 'Gardenia' style culture - my nine year old would certainly approve of doing away with money! My partner has bought me the sequel, which I shall start soon and (through your books) I have discovered 'Unbound' , so have ordered the final installment direct.
A great effort on your part - I admire anyone who has the creative wil/endurance to complete and successfully publish a novel - let alone a trilogy - well done!

Hello. Frustrated your books are not on Audible.com, especially when you have voiced other authors books !!! (loved a fully charged video which i have just finished watching, failed to find you on Audible but have ordered all three books on Amazon). Would love to have heard you read them with emphasis where the author intended, which is what i love about audiobooks (rarely buy them if they're not narrated by the author. Big love to you. Rob T
