Audioboo update from set of Red Dwarf

I've posted a little audioboo recorded this morning on the set of Red Dwarf X, I was multi tasking as I was also helping Craig Charles set up his brand new iPad. Craig, as I said in a tweet, has made a tech leap from somewhere in the mid 1980's to the present day.

Why, is that a slight change to Listers dreadlocks, I spy? Looks like they don#t just grow out from the back of his head any more.

Both my parents now have iPads, of course they didn't ask me first and once they had them they certainly weren't going to learn to use them or set them up, so as an PC guy since the early eighties I had to suddenly learn a whole new operating system, they are pretty nice pieces of kit actually, it just seems to be that when they do something strange, there really is no way to pop the bonnet, as it were, and have a fiddle, what you're allowed to mess with is it, and it usually doesn't explain why the strange thing was happening.

That said once they were setup they've both been pretty happily using them, the one new thing that they do now that they never bothered with before they got them, is buy and read ebooks, they have really taken to it and spend a lot more time reading than I have ever seen them before, I'm sure they are mostly reading terrible trash, but it's still good to see.
